This role is essential for providing high-quality garment adjustments and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have experience in garment alteration, sewing, and customer service, with a keen eye for precision and craftsmanship. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic retail environment where your skills directly impact the customer experience. Duties Perform alterations and repairs on garments to meet customer specifications Measure and assess clothing items to determine necessary adjustments Operate sewing machines and other alteration tools efficiently and safely Ensure all alterations are completed accurately and within designated timeframes Communicate effectively with customers regarding their alteration needs and expectations Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency Assist with garment construction or modifications as needed Keep detailed records of alterations performed for each customer Skills Experience in fashion retail or garment alteration preferred Proficiency in sewing machine operation and garment construction techniques Strong sewing skills with attention to detail and quality standards Excellent customer service skills, including clear communication and professionalism Basic math skills for measurements, sizing, and adjustments Ability to work efficiently under deadlines while maintaining high-quality work standards Knowledge of fabric types, sewing techniques, and garment fitting principles is a plus This role is vital for delivering exceptional service in our retail environment.
