Please must have experience with professional seamstress work and can operate Industrial sewing machines. Bring craftsmanship and precise garment construction and alteration Knowledge. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing, and customizing clothing items with skillful sewing techniques. Your expertise will ensure each piece meets high-quality standards while providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities Operate sewing machines efficiently to construct, alter, or repair garments according to specifications Perform garment construction tasks such as cutting fabric, stitching seams, hemming, and finishing edges with precision Ensure all sewing projects adhere to quality standards and meet deadlines for completion Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including proper handling of sewing tools and equipment Qualifications Proven experience with sewing machines and garment construction techniques Knowledge of dry cleaning and laundry processes is highly desirable Strong sewing skills with an eye for detail and quality craftsmanship Familiarity with garment repair, alteration procedures, and finishing techniques This is a small shop you will be here to help the owner with her work load! Must be professional and punctual and kind. :) Responsibilities Operate sewing machines efficiently to construct, alter, or repair garments according to specifications Perform garment construction tasks such as cutting fabric, stitching seams, hemming, and finishing edges with precision Conduct dry cleaning and laundry processes as needed to prepare garments for customer pickup or delivery Assist customers by providing expert advice on garment repairs or alterations while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor Use basic math skills to measure fabric, take accurate measurements, and calculate material requirements for projects Ensure all sewing projects adhere to quality standards and meet deadlines for completion Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including proper handling of sewing tools and equipment Qualifications Proven experience with sewing machines and garment construction techniques Knowledge of dry cleaning and laundry processes is highly desirable Strong sewing skills with an eye for detail and quality craftsmanship Ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements and fabric requirements Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients Familiarity with garment repair, alteration procedures, and finishing techniques Ability to stand, sit, and move comfortably throughout the workday in a fast-paced environment Join us in delivering beautifully crafted garments while enjoying a supportive work environment that values your skills!
