Basic Qualifications :

Must have minimum 5 years of sewing experience. Operate sewing machines with efficiency Work with all types of fabrics, including synthetic and natural fibers. Understand garment repair and construction instructions Comfortable working in areas where performers may be in multiple stages of dress/undress Push, pull, lift and carry 20 lbs., including overhead Must be bi-lingual (English\Spanish)

Responsibilities:

Ensuring the proper fit of garments Answering employee questions regarding alterations, fit, repair, cleaning, or care. Sewing needed alterations within the alteration schedule provided to customers Pressing garments Repair garments when appropriate Ensure that all equipment such as sewing machines, pressers, and steamers are well-maintained and kept in working order. Communicate employee requests to management. Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform the job, including, but not limited to, sewing machines, pressing, and ironing equipment, etc. Strong interpersonal, communication, organization, and follow-through skills
