Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Tailor to join our team in Chicago, IL. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Seamstress/Tailor to join our warehouse team on 2nd shift. This role involves operating industrial sewing equipment to alter, repair, and assemble textile products. Pay, Schedule, and Location Starting at $16.60 to $18/hour Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision 2nd shift schedule Located in Chicago, IL Duties and Responsibilities Operate industrial sewing machines, including overlock (serger) and straight needle machines Perform alterations, repairs, and assembly of garments or textile products Inspect materials and finished products to ensure quality standards are met Follow production schedules and meet daily output goals Maintain a clean and organized workstation Adhere to all safety procedures and warehouse guidelines Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors Requirements and Qualifications Previous experience with industrial sewing machines required Experience using overlock (serger) and straight needle machines preferred Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light to moderate materials Background in garment construction or textile production Familiarity with different fabric types and sewing techniques Ability to read basic work instructions or patterns — (Salary range based on experience) —
