In this role, you will bring garments to life through expert sewing, garment construction, and alterations, ensuring each piece meets our high standards of quality and style. Your craftsmanship will directly enhance our customers' experience by providing beautifully tailored clothing that fits perfectly and reflects their personal style. Duties Alter and tailor clothing items to achieve the perfect fit for customers, including hemming, taking in or letting out seams, and resizing Operate sewing machines efficiently and safely to complete various sewing tasks Assist customers with fitting consultations and provide expert advice on garment adjustments Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored Follow detailed instructions and patterns to produce consistent, high-quality garments Use basic math skills to measure fabrics, calculate seam allowances, and ensure accurate sizing Qualifications Proven experience in sewing, garment construction, or related fashion retail roles Proficiency with sewing machines and hand-sewing techniques Strong understanding of garment fitting and alteration processes Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and adjustments Knowledge of sewing machine maintenance and safety procedures is preferred A passion for fashion, craftsmanship, and delivering exceptional quality products Join us as a Seamstress and turn fabric into fashion!
