We take pride in quality workmanship, dependable service, and attention to detail. Job Summary Furniture Management Solutions is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Seamstress to join our team. This position is responsible for sewing, repairing, altering, and upholstering fabric items related to furniture and workspace products. The ideal candidate has strong sewing skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards. Responsibilities Sew, repair, alter, and finish fabric pieces for furniture and related products Measure, cut, and assemble fabric according to project specifications Repair seams, cushions, panels, and other upholstered items as needed Operate sewing machines and related tools safely and effectively Inspect finished work for quality, accuracy, and durability Assist with fabric preparation, organization, and inventory as needed Follow instructions, work orders, and project timelines Maintain a clean and organized work area Communicate with team members regarding project needs, issues, or material requirements Qualifications Previous sewing, seamstress, upholstery, or alteration experience preferred Ability to operate industrial or standard sewing machines Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship Ability to measure, cut, and sew accurately Comfortable working with various fabrics, vinyl, and upholstery materials Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team Reliable, organized, and able to meet deadlines Ability to lift and move fabric, cushions, or furniture components as needed Preferred Skills Experience with furniture upholstery or commercial furniture repair Knowledge of different fabric types and sewing techniques Ability to troubleshoot minor sewing machine issues Experience working in a production, warehouse, or furniture service environment Schedule Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM Work Environment This position may involve working in a warehouse, production, or furniture repair setting. The role requires standing, sitting, bending, lifting, and using sewing equipment throughout the workday.
