Responsibilities Perform clothing alterations, repairs, and custom fittings using sewing machines and garment construction techniques Consult with customers to understand their tailoring needs and provide professional recommendations Measure clients accurately to ensure precise fit adjustments, utilizing basic math skills for calculations Maintain a clean, organized workspace and ensure all sewing equipment is properly maintained and operated safely Manage multiple tailoring requests efficiently while adhering to quality standards and deadlines Assist with stock management of sewing supplies and tools to support continuous workflow Deliver exceptional customer service by engaging positively with shoppers, addressing inquiries, and ensuring satisfaction Experience Proven experience in fashion retail or garment tailoring, with a strong understanding of garment construction and sewing techniques Familiarity with sewing machines and various sewing methods required for alterations and repairs Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Basic math skills necessary for measuring, calculating fabric needs, and adjusting patterns Knowledge of fashion trends and garment fitting preferences is a plus Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Join us to bring style to life through expert tailoring!
