Our boutique brings together bridal gowns, designer fashion, beauty, and expert in-house tailoring within an elevated, client-focused environment. Every fitting and styling session is guided with intention, precision, and personal attention. Position Overview We are seeking an Atelier Associate to support both boutique operations and tailoring services. This hybrid role blends client-facing hospitality with technical garment support inside the atelier. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, polished, and confident working with fine fabrics and designer garments. You are equally comfortable welcoming clients into a private styling appointment as you are assisting at the sewing station. This role works closely with the Atelier Lead and Atelier Specialist to ensure every garment reflects Ellie Belle's standards of craftsmanship and fit. Key Responsibilities Boutique & Client Experience Welcome clients and support private styling and fitting appointments Prepare fitting rooms and maintain boutique presentation standards Steam and prepare garments for appointments Assist with garment intake, service logging, and order packaging Support a calm, polished, and personalized client experience Atelier & Garment Support Assist during fittings by pinning, marking, and preparing garments Perform foundational alterations (hemming, seam adjustments, zipper replacements) Press, steam, and finish garments for delivery Maintain organized atelier tools and supplies Support bridal fittings, custom requests, and special projects Work with delicate fabrics including silk, lace, structured textiles, and designer materials Qualifications 1-3 years of experience in tailoring, alterations, or fashion retail Proficiency in hand sewing and industrial machine sewing Comfort working with bridal and designer garments Strong attention to detail and quality control Professional, warm demeanor with excellent client communication skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively Availability Tuesday through Saturday within boutique hours Why Join Ellie Belle Work within a refined, appointment-based boutique environment Collaborate alongside experienced bridal and fashion professionals Grow within a structured atelier hierarchy Be part of a founder-led brand focused on craftsmanship and service

Pay:

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
