Bridal Seamstress Beautifully Taylored Alterations & Custom Design Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bridal Seamstress to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bridal garment construction and be proficient in operating sewing machines. This role involves performing alterations on bridal gowns and some formal gowns ensuring that all sewing tasks meet our standards of excellence. This role will also include fitting clients for alterations to be done to gowns. The Seamstress will work in a studio environment, collaborating with the owner to complete alterations efficiently. Duties Operate sewing machines to alter garments according to specifications. Perform alterations and repairs on garments as needed. Maintain an organized workspace within the studio, ensuring all materials and tools are readily accessible. Collaborate with owner to meet production goals and deadlines. Inspect finished products for quality assurance before they are given to clients. Skills Proficiency in using sewing machines and other related equipment. Strong understanding of garment construction techniques and fabric types. Experience working in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred but not required. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
