Job Description:
Maria's Quality Dry Cleaners is looking for an experienced tailor or seamstress to join our team in Bayonne, NJ. We are looking for someone reliable, detail-oriented, and experienced with clothing alterations and repairs. This is a great opportunity for a professional tailor looking for steady work in a busy dry cleaning business.
Responsibilities:
Perform alterations on pants, dresses, suits, shirts, jackets, and other garments. Complete hemming, waist adjustments, tapering, zipper replacements, repairs, and custom fitting work. Maintain quality and accuracy with every piece. Work efficiently and meet customer deadlines.
Requirements:
Must have professional tailoring or seamstress experience. Must be able to work independently and complete high-quality alterations. Experience with dry cleaners or alteration shops is preferred. Spanish speaking is a plus.
Pay:
$600-$1,000 weekly depending on experience, speed, and quality of work.
