This role is essential in providing high-quality alterations and tailoring services to our customers, ensuring their garments fit perfectly and meet their style preferences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fashion retail, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for garment construction. Duties Perform alterations on a variety of garments, including dresses, suits, and casual wear, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship. Utilize sewing machines and hand-sewing techniques to execute alterations accurately. Consult with customers to understand their alteration needs and provide expert recommendations. Measure clients accurately to ensure proper fit and make necessary adjustments based on individual preferences. Maintain an organized workspace and keep all tools and equipment in good condition. Collaborate with team members to manage workflow efficiently and meet customer deadlines. Stay updated on current fashion trends and techniques in garment construction. Requirements Proven experience in fashion retail or a similar environment is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Proficiency in using sewing machines and knowledge of various sewing techniques. Understanding of garment construction principles and fabric types. Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations related to alterations. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
