Job Description

Drapery Workroom Assistant We are a local custom drapery workroom seeking a dependable and motivated team member to join our small team. No previous experience is required. We are willing to train the right candidate who has a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a desire to learn the craft of hand-making custom window treatments.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the fabrication of custom draperies, curtains, valances, and other soft window treatments. Measure, cut, prepare, and handle fabrics and materials. Learn sewing and workroom techniques used in the creation of custom products. Maintain an organized and clean workspace. Work closely with team members to complete projects accurately and on schedule. Follow detailed instructions and quality standards.
Qualifications:
No prior experience required; training provided. Desire to learn new skills and grow within the company. Reliable, punctual, and able to meet deadlines. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a small team. Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.

Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
