Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Alterations Tailor, where your craftsmanship and attention to detail will transform garments to fit perfectly and meet our customers' expectations. In this energetic role, you will expertly modify clothing items, ensuring each piece reflects high-quality garment construction and a flawless fit. Your passion for fashion retail and customer service will shine as you deliver personalized tailoring solutions that leave customers delighted and confident in their wardrobe. Duties Measure clients accurately to determine necessary alterations, ensuring optimal fit and comfort Use sewing machines and hand-sewing techniques to modify garments according to specifications Adjust hems, take in or let out seams, replace zippers, and perform other tailoring repairs with precision Communicate clearly with customers to understand their needs and provide expert advice on garment adjustments Maintain a clean, organized workspace and ensure all tools and equipment are in excellent working condition Follow garment construction standards to ensure durability and quality of finished products Keep detailed records of alterations performed for each customer for quality control and future reference Experience Prior experience working in fashion retail or a tailoring environment is highly preferred Proficiency with sewing machines, garment construction, and sewing techniques is essential Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally Basic math skills for taking measurements, calculating seam allowances, and adjusting patterns accurately Familiarity with garment fitting processes and alteration procedures is a plus Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship Join us in creating beautifully tailored garments that boost confidence and style!
