The ideal candidate will have a passion for garment construction and a keen eye for detail, ensuring each piece meets high-quality standards. This role offers an opportunity to work in a creative environment, providing custom tailoring and alterations to meet customer needs. The Seamstress Tailor will play a vital role in enhancing customer satisfaction through expert craftsmanship and exceptional service. Responsibilities Take Customers Fitting & Perform garment alterations, repairs, and customizations based on customer specifications,Perform fittings as per client needs Experience with wedding dresses and formal gowns and all kinds of garments.
Alteration Skills :
Suits, Bridal Dresses, Jackets,Shirts,Pants,Zippers etc Operate sewing machines efficiently and safely to produce high-quality finished products Measure clients accurately and interpret design requirements for proper fitting Ensure all garments are constructed according to design specifications and quality standards Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including sewing stations and tools Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide professional advice on garment adjustments Keep detailed records of work performed for each client Requirements Proven experience in sewing, garment construction, or tailoring, preferably within fashion retail Proficiency with sewing machines and various sewing techniques Strong understanding of garment fitting, pattern adjustments, and fabric handling Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients Basic math skills for taking measurements and calculating fabric requirements Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Prior experience in fashion retail is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided as needed
Pay:
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
