Seamstress and Embroidery Specialist Location:

Virginia Beach, VA Specialty Spaces LLC is seeking a skilled Seamstress and embroidery specialist to assist in bringing in-house all embroidery and sewing production, specifically for our Navy clients. About the Role In this role, you will be a core part of our operations team, responsible for producing embroidered and sewn goods that meet the exacting standards of our Navy customers. This position requires technical skill, creativity, and initiative, as you will manage production and design of materials. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to innovative projects for our country's naval forces. Key Responsibilities Operate and maintain an industrial Juki sewing machine and a 10-needle embroidery machine and industrial sewing machine. Produce high-quality embroidered and sewn goods according to customer specifications and deadlines. Develop new designs and patterns to showcase to customers, driving new business. Maintain cleanliness and functionality of all related equipment. Collaborate with the internal team to ensure product consistency and innovation.

Requirements Experience:

3+ years of experience with industrial sewing machinery.

Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, ability to operate a multi-needle embroidery machine and industrial sewing machine.

Soft Skills:

Strong initiative, self-management, and accountability; positive attitude and eagerness to work independently without micromanagement.

Additional Qualifications:

Willingness to complete trial runs on our sewing machine and Baby Lock Enterprise Embroidery Machine during the interview process.

Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
