Tailor/Seamstress

Responsibilities Perform garment construction from raw fabric to finished product, following detailed patterns and specifications Alter and tailor clothing items to achieve precise fit adjustments for customers Operate sewing machines efficiently and safely to complete various sewing tasks Inspect garments for quality, ensuring seams, hems, and finishes meet company standards Communicate with customers regarding their tailoring needs and provide expert advice on fit and style options Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency during sewing operations Assist with inventory management of fabrics, notions, and sewing supplies to support seamless production Requirements Proven experience in garment construction, sewing, or tailoring within a retail or custom tailoring environment Proficiency with sewing machines and various sewing techniques Strong understanding of garment fitting, pattern adjustments, and finishing details Excellent customer service skills with the ability to listen carefully and communicate clearly Basic math skills for measuring fabrics, taking measurements accurately, and calculating fabric needs Knowledge of fashion retail trends is a plus but not required Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Join us as a vital part of our team where your craftsmanship makes a difference!
