Responsibilities Collaborate with clients to understand their tattoo ideas, providing expert guidance on design and placement Prepare skin by cleaning and sterilizing the area to ensure optimal tattooing conditions Use tattoo machines and tools skillfully to create detailed, high-quality artwork according to client specifications Maintain strict sanitation standards throughout the process to prevent infections and ensure safety Manage studio operations including appointment scheduling, store management, and inventory of supplies Educate clients on aftercare procedures to promote healing and long-lasting results Uphold health regulations by adhering to sanitation protocols and maintaining a clean work environment Skills Proficiency in tattooing techniques across various styles and designs Strong store management abilities including scheduling, inventory control, and customer flow management Knowledge of sanitation practices and health regulations related to body art studios Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients and understanding their vision Basic first aid knowledge to handle any minor incidents or emergencies safely Exceptional customer service skills to create a positive experience from consultation through aftercare Solid understanding of color theory and illustration skills for designing vibrant, eye-catching tattoos Sales acumen to promote studio services and build lasting client relationships
