JOB FUNCTION

It is an exciting time at our store, and we are looking to for someone ready to earn your keep. The sky is the limit on earnings; earn commission on all written (not delivered) sales. In this role, you will be responsible for working with our customers to identify their cabinet and countertop project needs and tastes, as well as provide functional and attractive solutions. Meeting and greeting our retail customers, working with our Pro Customers (Builders, Contractors, Designers) as well as prospecting new business. Must know how to use kitchen 2020.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Meets with our customers in our Showrooms, in their home, or virtually to determine preferences, purpose and function, types of materials and budget when planning their projects. Integrates findings and knowledge of interior design to formulate a plan and sell the appropriate products to complete the plan. Renders design ideas in the form of online drawings or illustrations, estimate material requirements and costs, and presents design(s) for approval. Be very organized and self-motivated with an emphasis on customer service, estimating, and diligent follow-up.

MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Two (2) years of cabinet or interior design experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company. Flooring experience is a plus. Excellent customer service skills. Excellent communication skills (oral and written). Basic mathematical skills with strong attention to detail. Self-motivated and able to multi-task with urgency. Ability to identify and resolve problems promptly along with gathering and analyzing information skillfully. Perform other duties as assigned.
