This role focuses on building and reupholstering booths, banquettes, barstools, chairs, and custom seating for high-end hospitality projects. This is a hands-on production role requiring speed, precision, and an understanding of durable, commercial-grade upholstery .

Key Responsibilities Upholster and reupholster:

Restaurant booths and banquettes Barstools and dining chairs Lounge seating and custom furniture Outdoor patio cushions and seating Work from: Shop drawings Material specifications Production schedules Measure, cut, and install materials with precision Build and install foam packages (multi-density, commercial-grade) Perform pattern matching and material layout optimization Work with materials including: Luxury vinyl (hospitality-grade) Leather and faux leather Commercial woven fabrics Outdoor fabrics (Sunbrella or equivalent) Upholster complex shapes (curved booths, channel backs, etc.) Maintain consistent quality across production runs Collaborate with carpentry team on booth frames and builds Repair and modify existing furniture as needed Required Skills & Experience 3-5+ years of professional upholstery experience (commercial preferred) Experience with restaurant booths and high-use furniture strongly preferred Proficiency with upholstery tools and techniques

Understanding of:

Foam selection and cushion build-up Proper tensioning and finishing Durable construction methods for high-traffic use Ability to work efficiently in a production environment Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship Compensation (Phoenix Market) $20 - $30 per hour depending on experience
