Experienced Steam Press/Dry Cleaning Associate Milpitas, CA 95035 From $19 an hour - Full-time From $19 an hour - Full-time Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Steam Press & Dry Cleaning Associate to join our dry-cleaning team. The ideal candidate has prior experience in steam pressing, and dry cleaning and is skilled in finishing a variety of garments to professional quality standards. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to maintain high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Operate steam press and dry cleaning machine. Press and finish garments including shirts, pants, suits, dresses, blouses, jackets, and specialty items. Inspect garments before and after pressing to ensure quality standards are met. Identify stains, fabric issues, missing buttons, tears, or other garment concerns and report them appropriately. Maintain productivity while ensuring excellent garment presentation. Follow garment care instructions and fabric-specific handling procedures. Keep workstations and equipment clean, organized, and safe. Comply with all company safety and quality procedures. Qualifications Minimum 6 months of experience in steam pressing & dry-cleaning. Knowledge of garment, fabrics, and proper pressing techniques. Ability to recognize and handle delicate and specialty garments. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. Ability to lift and move garment racks and laundry loads as required. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. Preferred Qualifications Experience with high-volume dry-cleaning operations.
