Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Upholstery Manager to lead our upholstery team in delivering exceptional craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of upholstery projects, from initial consultation and blueprint interpretation to final assembly and quality control. Responsibilities Supervise daily operations of the upholstery workshop, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines Help coordinate upholstery projects from intake through completion Communicate with customers regarding estimates, fabrics, project updates, and completion dates Prepare work orders, invoices, and basic estimates Help schedule pickups and deliveries Coordinate with upholsterers, sewing staff, and other team members Interpret blueprint specifications, technical drawings, and manufacturing instructions to guide the team in fabricating custom upholstery pieces Oversee reupholstering projects, utilizing upholstery techniques to restore or enhance furniture, automotive interiors, or specialized items Coordinate manual cutting of fabric materials with precision, ensuring accurate pattern matching and minimal waste Maintain high standards of attention to detail during all phases of production, inspection, and finishing processes Qualifications Proven experience in upholstery & customer handling Strong knowledge of fabric materials such as leather and various textiles Skilled in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specification documents for accurate project execution Basic computer, email, invoicing, and scheduling skills Excellent attention to detail combined with strong organizational skills to oversee multiple projects simultaneously Join our team as an Upholstery Manager and lead with passion!
