Fabric Cutter - Upholsterer

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fabric Cutter - Upholsterer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for precisely cutting fabric and upholstery materials to specifications, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship in furniture and upholstery projects. Your mechanical knowledge, sewing skills, and understanding of garment construction will be essential in delivering flawless products that meet our standards. Duties Accurately measure and cut fabric, foam, and other upholstery materials according to detailed patterns and specifications Operate sewing machines and other manufacturing tools to assemble upholstery components with precision Interpret drafting sketches, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure correct material layout and cutting plans Maintain quality control by inspecting cut pieces for accuracy, consistency, and defects Collaborate with designers and upholsterers to optimize material usage and reduce waste Follow safety protocols when handling machinery, sharp tools, and heavy materials Keep work area organized, clean, and stocked with necessary supplies to ensure efficient workflow Experience Proven experience in fabric cutting, upholstery, or garment construction within a manufacturing environment Strong mechanical knowledge related to machinery operation and maintenance Skilled in using sewing machines and understanding sewing techniques relevant to upholstery work Familiarity with drafting or interpreting technical drawings and patterns Knowledge of machining processes used in furniture manufacturing or textile industries Ability to read and follow detailed instructions accurately Prior experience working with various fabrics, foam, and padding materials is preferred Join us to craft exceptional upholstered pieces that combine creativity with precision! Pay:

$24.68 - $29.72 per hour
