In this role, you will be responsible for transforming raw materials into beautifully finished upholstered products for cars, boats, etc. by expertly sewing and assembling fabric and other materials. Your craftsmanship will contribute to creating high-quality furniture and custom upholstery pieces that meet our standards of excellence. Responsibilities Operate sewing machines efficiently to assemble upholstery fabrics, cushions, and furniture components with precision. Cut, measure, and pattern fabric or material according to project specifications. Sew seams, hems, and decorative stitches to ensure durability and aesthetic appeal. Inspect finished work for quality, consistency, and adherence to design specifications. Collaborate with the design and production teams to meet project deadlines and quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized workspace in the manufacturing or warehouse environment. Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for all sewing equipment and materials. Requirements Proven experience in garment construction or upholstery sewing, demonstrating strong sewing machine skills. Ability to operate various types of sewing machines confidently. Knowledge of sewing techniques, fabric handling, and pattern making. Prior experience working in manufacturing or warehouse settings is preferred. Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and equipment handling is a plus. Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and ability to work efficiently under deadlines. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team environment.
