Upholstery Apprentice

This is an Apprenticeship, or a paid opportunity to learn from more experienced craftspeople. When trained and working full time, the pay rate up to $27/hr with specific furniture manufacturing experience. Upholstery Technicians needed to assist in the production of high-end furniture manufacturing. We encourage employees to develop and hone multiple skills across areas such as prepping frames with foam/fiber, applying fabric, vinyl and leather materials to wood frames and processing bases, arms, inside backs and outside/trimming assignments including helping with product development. The vast majority of our work is custom and requires attention to detail and a caring attitude. Each position offers a great variety of things to do and most people are cross-trained and compensated for that ability. TLS produces furniture for higher-end hotel, restaurant, higher education, hospital, recreational vehicle and residential markets. Base Hours for most employees include four 10 hour days Monday-Thursday. Overtime on Fridays when required.
