Job Description
Job description Lousso Designs is looking for a dependable and hard-working team member to assist with furniture preparation, stripping, moving, and general upholstery shop support. This is a hands-on position within a fast-paced custom furniture and upholstery workroom specializing in residential, hospitality, and commercial projects. Responsibilities Open and strip upholstered furniture Remove existing fabric, staples, foam, and materials Assist upholsterers and production staff Move furniture safely throughout the shop Load/unload deliveries as needed Maintain clean and organized work areas Assist with general production and shop tasks Qualifications Ability to lift and move furniture Comfortable using basic hand and pneumatic tools Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to work efficiently within a team Upholstery or furniture experience is a plus, but not required Preferred Traits Positive attitude Organized and detail-oriented Comfortable in a production/shop environment Willingness to learn and grow
