Job Description

Senior Inside Upholsterer 37 9th Street SE Place, Hickory, NC 28602 Full-time Full-time Position Summary Highly skilled upholsterer with advanced technical ability, capable of working on complex frames and materials while maintaining high productivity and exceptional quality. Position Details Upholster complex, custom, or made to measure furniture frames Troubleshoot and resolve construction or material challenges Maintain high productivity while ensuring superior quality Mentor and train Level 1 and Level 2 upholsterers Provide feedback to supervisors on process improvements Assist in prototype builds or new product introductions Ensure adherence to advanced quality standards Performance Expectations Consistently exceeds quality standards Handles complex work with minimal rework Acts as a resource and mentor to others Contributes to team efficiency and knowledge sharing Position Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Extensive upholstery experience with demonstrated advanced skill required Ability to handle complex designs, patterns, and materials Strong problem-solving skills Proven track record of high productivity and quality Physical Requirements The physical demands and work environment expectations described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
