Full Time Summary:

Maintains and ensures that the casino facility (gaming areas and offices) are clean and sanitary at all times. Always presents a friendly and professional image at the casino.

Responsibilities:

1. Cleans assigned area, following set cleaning schedule, ensuring entire area is cleaned in accordance with EVS policies and guidelines. 2. Cleans gaming floor, all rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, bathrooms, corridors, stairways, and other work areas. 3. Dusts furniture, gaming machines, vinyl, wood, glass, ceramic, metal surfaces with appropriate cleaning solutions. 4. Empties wastebaskets, empties and cleans ashtrays. 5. Keeps all entrance areas clean. 6. Ensures paper products (bathroom and other identified areas) are replenished and in good supplies. 7. Cleans identified fixtures in assigned area 8. Picks up all items off of floor using manual floor sweeper or broom and handled dustpan to keep carpet clean. 9. Cleans and polishes all gaming machines in assigned area, cleans all chairs. 10. Strips and applies waxes, and buffs floors using rotary floor machine. 11. Keeps all entrance areas clean including windows and signs, empty trash containers as needed. 1 2. Operates industrial vacuums to clean carpet, upholstered furniture. 1 3. Keeps cleaning equipment in good repair. 1 4. Learn how to use all types of floor equipment such as scrubbers, buffers/burnishers, polishers, carpet extractors, granite resurfacing equipment, power washers, sweepers and more cleaning equipment. 1 5. Additional duties/tasks as directed. #ind1 EDUCATION Ability to read, write and understand English.

EXPERIENCE

Basic computer skills, including email, time-clocks/electronic time-clocks. Previous EVS experience, especially in a Class II or III Casino experience preferred.
