Immediate interviews & start dates available Job Description We are hiring a Sander/Finisher to support production of high-quality wood products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role focuses on sanding, finishing, and preparing materials while ensuring attention to detail and consistent quality. Candidates will work with hand tools, power tools, and finishing equipment while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Responsibilities Sand wood cabinets using hand tools and power sanders to achieve smooth finishes. Fill imperfections with wood putty and prepare surfaces for finishing. Mix and apply coatings including paint, epoxy, and lacquer. Apply finishes using rollers and spray equipment for even coverage. Inspect, touch up products, and maintain a clean, organized workspace. What You Bring Experience in sanding, finishing, or general production (preferred but not required). Ability to use hand tools and power sanders safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work. Willingness to learn new skills and cross-train in other areas. Ability to lift 30-50 lbs and stay active throughout the shift. Additional Skills (Preferred) Experience with paint prep, epoxy, or spray finishing techniques. Background in woodworking or shop environments. Interest or experience in metal assembly. Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on production setting. Comfortable working with tools, coatings, and finishing equipment. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
