Job Description

Summary Sew pre-cut vinyl together to make a skin for multiple departments in the production process. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Must be able to read and interpret schedule for daily production requirements. Inspect the pre-cut vinyl, and the pre-sewn cord to ensure there are no flaws before sewing. Required to always sew with the correct seam allowance to ensure that the skin will meet the quality standards of Malibu boats. Must be very detail oriented. Perform standard housekeeping duties throughout the day. All duties must be performed in accordance with Malibu's safety policies and procedures. Other duties may be assigned. #malibuboats Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. A general knowledge of operating a sewing machine; must be able to read and execute build instruction from work orders. Education and/or
Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related work experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to read measuring devices. Basic math functions required.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two- step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
