• Austin, TX About Us Silverstone Auto Spa is a high-end automotive detailing and protection studio in Leander, TX, specializing in paint protection film (PPF), ceramic coatings, and premium detailing for luxury, exotic, and performance vehicles.

We are growing fast and looking for a detail-obsessed PPF Installer who takes pride in flawless work and wants to be part of a high-performance team. Job Summary As a PPF Installer at Silverstone , you will be responsible for preparing vehicles and installing high-quality paint protection film on a variety of cars, with a strong focus on premium and exotic models. You'll work in a clean, climate-controlled environment with quality materials and tools, delivering results that exceed client expectations. Key Responsibilities Install paint protection film (clear bra) on hoods, bumpers, fenders, mirrors, roof, full front, and full body where required.

Perform thorough surface prep:

wash, decontamination, clay, light polishing as needed for proper adhesion. Align and install pre-cut and bulk PPF patterns with precise fitment, minimal seams, and a near-invisible finish. Inspect completed installations, perform quality checks, and correct minor imperfections such as edges, fingers, and bubbles. Safely use installation tools (squeegees, blades, heat guns, steamers) and maintain a clean, organized work area. Communicate clearly with the owner and team about job status, any paint issues, and timelines. Follow shop processes and protect customer vehicles at all times (seat covers, floor mats, careful handling). Qualifications 3-5+ years of hands-on experience installing automotive PPF (STEK) strongly preferred. Strong eye for detail and ability to deliver clean, high-end work on luxury and exotic vehicles. Comfortable with pre-cut kit, hybrid-bulk and bulk install methods on complex panels and large bumpers. Ability to stand, bend, and work with hands for extended periods in a shop environment. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Nice-to-Have Experience with paint correction and ceramic coating application. Experience with vinyl wrap or window tint installation.

Schedule and Pay Job type:

Full-time, on-site in Leander, TX.

Typical schedule:

Monday-Friday (occasional Saturdays for high-demand periods).

Pay:

Competitive ticket based percentage commission. Current installers make between 80-150k per year Potential earnings are aligned with market rates for experienced PPF installers in Texas.
