POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a dependable Shop Helper to assist employees with daily operations in an industrial manufacturing shop. This is a hands-on position for someone who is hardworking, willing to learn, and comfortable working in a busy industrial environment. Bilingual Spanish/English communication skills are required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist shop and production employees with daily tasks Move and organize materials, tools, and equipment Load and unload materials as directed Keep the shop, work areas, and equipment clean and organized Assist with preparing materials for production Help with basic shop duties and general labor tasks Use hand tools and other equipment as instructed Assist with material handling and moving products throughout the facility Follow instructions from supervisors and experienced shop personnel Maintain a safe and organized work environment Follow all company safety rules and procedures Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Bilingual English/Spanish required Previous industrial, warehouse, manufacturing, or shop experience preferred Ability to perform physical labor throughout the workday Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required Must be dependable and punctual Willingness to learn new skills Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Comfortable working around industrial equipment and manufacturing operations Strong safety awareness
IDEAL CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate is hardworking, reliable, hands-on, and willing to learn. Previous shop or manufacturing experience is a plus, but a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are important.
Pay:
$16.00/hour + approximately 12 hours of overtime per week
