In this role, you will be responsible for restoring, repairing, and customizing automotive upholstery to meet client specifications. Your skills will help transform vehicles into comfortable, stylish, and high-quality masterpieces. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your expertise in auto restoration while working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Duties Use hand tools, power tools, and sewing machines to cut, sew, and install upholstery materials such as fabric, leather, vinyl, and foam. Measure and fit upholstery components accurately to ensure seamless installation and a polished finish. Repair or replace damaged upholstery sections in vehicles requiring restoration or customization. Assist in the assembly of interior components, including seats, door panels, headliners, and dashboards. Follow detailed instructions and safety procedures to ensure quality workmanship and workplace safety. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and meet deadlines. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and productivity. Requirements Proven experience with hand tools, power tools, sewing machines, and sewing techniques related to upholstery work. Knowledge of auto restoration processes and familiarity with vehicle interior components. Ability to read technical diagrams and follow detailed instructions accurately. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship. Physical stamina to stand, kneel, bend, and lift for extended periods during installation tasks. Basic understanding of manufacturing or assembly processes is preferred. Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills.
