$17 - $23 per hour, plus full benefits General Description This position requires a detail-oriented self-starter able to work productively as a member of a small team to turn raw materials into imaging sonar systems. This person will be expected to:- Assemble individual machined components into one or more sub-assemblies.
- Follow a bill of materials and work instructions to ensure accurate results.
- Read and interpret blueprints or drawings necessary to complete assignments.
- Perform detailed work including deburring, cleaning and painting of parts.
- Perform cosmetic and dimensional inspection of parts.
- Demonstrate a desire and aptitude for learning about machine tools and processes.
- Demonstrate the ability and attitude to work in a small company environment supporting both research and development and production efforts.
- Work safely in a production environment. General Requirements
- Reliable self-starter, flexible attitude, and ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Attention to detail.
- Authorized to work in USA
- Must pass a drug and background check.
- Familiarity with common hand tools.
- Machining and fabrication experience is a plus.
