As our sewer you will collaborate with our owners on the TWR's various pillow, cushion, roman shade and drapery projects for custom as well as in-store purchase. This is an amazing opportunity for an experienced sewer who is looking for hands on experience growing a local retail brand.
Job Responsibilities:
Entrepreneurial spirit A willingness to dig in and contribute Ability to work on various types of sewing projects at one time Ensure full understanding of sewing projects, timing and fabric Support and model excellent service by exhibiting a positive attitude and enthusiasm toward the job and company to both internal and external customers in all forms of communication Stay up to date on home design trends that may influence buying decisions
Required Skills:
Use of following: industrial machines such as Consew with walking foot US hem stitcher Juki 5 thread serger Customer service/retail experience preferred Strong communication skills Ability to move and/or lift up to 50lbs; heavier product with team assist Must be available to work a flexible schedule including weekends
