Duties Welcome clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism, creating a positive experience from check-in to check-out Manage appointment scheduling, patient records, and client communications efficiently using veterinary software systems Assist veterinary staff with animal restraint during examinations, treatments, and procedures to ensure safety for animals and team members Support clinical tasks such as medication administration, animal handling, catheterization, and basic laboratory procedures Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas, kennels, and equipment following aseptic techniques Provide animal husbandry including feeding, grooming, and monitoring health status to promote optimal animal well-being Handle a variety of animals including dogs, cats, and equines with confidence in animal physiology and behavior management Qualifications Prior kennel experience or animal handling background demonstrating comfort working with diverse animals Experience in veterinary clinics or as a veterinary assistant is highly preferred Knowledge of veterinary terminology, pet care practices, and animal anatomy for effective support roles Ability to perform animal restraint safely and confidently during examinations or treatments Familiarity with medication administration protocols and aseptic techniques in clinical settings Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, team members, and external partners Join us if you're passionate about animal care and eager to develop your skills in a lively, supportive environment!
