Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician/Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing high-quality care to our animal patients while supporting our veterinarians and clients.
Assist in the triage of incoming patients, assessing their condition and prioritizing careRestrain and handle animals safely during examinations and proceduresCollect and analyze laboratory samples, including blood, urine, and tissue specimensPerform diagnostic imaging procedures, such as X-rays and ultrasoundsProvide nursing care for medical and hospitalized cases with varying degrees of stabilityAdminister medications as prescribed by veterinariansCommunicate treatment plans effectively with pet owners, ensuring they understand care instructionsPrepare animals and equipment for surgical proceduresAssist in anesthetic management during surgeriesMaintain a clean and organized work environmentCollaborate with the veterinary team to ensure optimal patient careStay updated on the latest veterinary techniques and best practices
