Job Description

Job description: Are you the type who thrives in a fast-paced environment, doesn't flinch at a little (okay, a lot of) fur, and thinks helping animals is literally the best job ever ? Then you might be our next CVT or Veterinary Assistant ! We're a small, recently expanded, clinic with a love for teamwork, a clean clinic, and well-cared-for critters. We're on the lookout for a reliable, energetic veterinary assistant who's not afraid to get their paws dirty.
About You:
You can lift 50 lbs , juggle three tasks , and charm a nervous Chihuahua —all before 9am. You're the kind of person who says, "I've got it!" before anyone even asks. You're cool under pressure, kind to clients, and quick to help teammates. You take pride in a clean exam room and a smooth-running shift. You can handle fecal matter, blood, and urine without losing your lunch (or your sense of humor).
What You'll Be Doing:
Every day is different—but here's a peek at what your days might include: Assisting doctors with exams, treatments, and surgeries Drawing blood, placing IV catheters, giving meds, and monitoring anesthesia Helping restrain patients (even the feisty ones ) Prepping surgical packs and maintaining sterile fields Keeping our clinic tidy, stocked, and looking sharp Making sure patients are comfy and clients feel heard Writing up records and supporting communication between coworkers, clients, and doctors.
Bonus Points If You:
Have previous vet med experience (but not a dealbreaker!) Love learning new skills and teaching others Can bend, kneel, lift, and stand for long periods (aka "vet tech yoga") Are a low-drama, high-effort, always-ready-to-help kind of human
