Responsibilities:

Support veterinarians with appointments, drop off services and surgery to maximize productivity and maintain a timely patient flow. Assist with surgeries and procedures as outlined by hospital SOP and state guidelines. Communicate with clients about individualized pet health concerns and offer guidance with discharge instructions, food and medications. Maintain health information and history through computerized database (Avimark). Demonstrate and implement safe restraining techniques, follow standard protocols, and sustain clean, sterile, organized treatment areas, exam rooms, and labs. Be willing to guide, mentor, and support fellow team members. Benefits (with full time position, after 90 day probation period): Competitive salary with vacation and sick pay.
