As a Kennel Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of the animals in our care. Your responsibilities will include daily care routines, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with various tasks related to animal handling. Responsibilities Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, and walking the patients. Maintain cleanliness of kennels and common areas to ensure a safe and hygienic environment. Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to veterinary staff or management. Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques during medical procedures. Collaborate with team members to create a positive environment for both animals and clients. Experience Candidates should possess experience or skills in the following areas: Dog training or handling experience is preferred. Previous veterinary technician or assistant experience is highly beneficial. Experience in kennel settings or animal care facilities is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required when handling larger animals or equipment.
