Veterinary Assistant/Technician wanted for a small one doctor practice with a very loyal clientele located just north of 7th Street and Thunderbird. We pride ourselves on offering affordable pet care for over 30 years. We treat each animal that comes into our clinic like our own. We are a close group that enjoys spending time together outside of work, participating in fun team building activities and are continually collaborating to make our environment the best it can be. We are currently looking for a full or part time Veterinary Assistant/Technician with a heart for animals and a very strong work ethic. MUST have at least 1 year of veterinary experience either as an assistant or technician. MUST be familiar with veterinary terminology and illness. Our fast-paced appointments and high volume mean we need someone who is quick to learn. Attention to detail and accountability are nonnegotiable. Applicant MUST be willing to help in all areas of the hospital including Reception and front office, and basic housekeeping. Applicant should have a professional phone voice and greet all clients and pets with a smile and a great attitude. Veterinary experience (1 year required) Must have reliable transportation to get to work Salary DOE and is negotiable. After a 90 day trial period applicant may be eligible for a raise based on performance and skill level.
