This includes but is not limited to pharmacy, laboratory, nursing care, appointments, radiology, surgery preparation/recovery, anesthesia monitoring, and phone calls. We are looking to hire an energetic veterinary technician or assistant to join our veterinary team. We are a locally-owned, one doctor practice. This allows us to provide personalized care and bond with our clients and their pets. Experience and certification are preferred but not required. Must have minimum of 1 year experience. Surgery and anesthesia skills are a must. Excellent communication skills Ability to critically think and multi-task Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend, kneel, twist, and safely restrain our patients Highly motivated and reliable Ability to make good quick decisions Good math and language skills Ability to follow written and oral instructions Eager to learn and ability to retain knowledge Ability to work some Saturdays and weekend non-business hours on a rotating basis.
