ABOUT THE POSITION
We are seeking an Experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is motivated, dependable, detail-oriented, and passionate about providing outstanding patient care and client service.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist veterinarians and RVTs with patient care and treatments Obtain patient histories and maintain accurate medical records Restrain patients safely and compassionately Perform laboratory sample collection and preparation Assist with radiology and diagnostic procedures Prepare and maintain exam rooms and treatment areas Educate clients on medications, treatments, and preventive care Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the hospital
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 3 years of veterinary assistant experience preferred Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Team-oriented with a positive attitude Experience with veterinary software is a plus Ability to lift and restrain animals safely
