The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and excellent customer service skills. As a Veterinary Assistant/ Kennel Attendant, you will be an integral part of our care team, providing exceptional care and support. Equine experience is required. ## Responsibilities

• Greet clients and their pets in a friendly and professional manner
• Schedule appointments and manage the veterinary clinic's calendar
• Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly
• Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining records
• Handle payments and billing for services rendered
• Maintain cleanliness and organization
• Keeping both trucks stocked and ready to go
• Keeping the kennels clean
• Restocking treatment and exam rooms
• Cleaning and folding laundry
• Assisting in blood draws, radiographs, animal restraint
• And so much more! ## Skills
• Knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and husbandry
• Experience with animal handling and care
• Familiarity with aseptic techniques in a veterinary setting
• Understanding of pet care practices
• Ability to work with various animals including equine species
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in veterinary terminology

• Minimum 5 years large and small animal experience
• Veterinary experience

• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel
