Job Description
MANDATORY
Must be proficient in placing IV catheters in dogs and cats, and skilled in drawing blood, including from cats.Position:
Veterinary Technician (RVTs Encouraged to Apply)Key Responsibilities:
Assist veterinarians in surgeries and dental procedures. Proficiently place IV catheters and perform blood draws. Perform routine laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging. Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed. Provide nursing care and emergency first aid to patients as needed. Educate clients on pet health, care, and medications. Maintain clean and sterile treatment areas and equipment.Skills and Qualifications:
Certification as a Veterinary Technician (or equivalent experience). Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVTs) are strongly encouraged to apply. Proficiency in placing IV catheters and performing blood draws. Experience assisting in surgeries and dental procedures. Excellent client service skills and the ability to communicate effectively. Proficiency in handling and restraining animals safely. Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure. Experience with veterinary software and equipment is a plus.Salary & Benefits:
