Veterinary Assistant Baker Bristol Pet Hospital - Costa Mesa, CA Full-Time or Part-Time | Pay DOE Overview We are hiring and seeking a skilled, compassionate Veterinary Technicians to join our growing team of Doctors This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience who are ready to contribute at a high level in a fast-paced, team-driven hospital. Our team genuinely enjoys working together, and our clients trust us—allowing you to focus on what matters most: delivering excellent medicine. What You'll Do Assist veterinarians with exams, surgical procedures, and anesthesia monitoring Monitor patient vitals before, during, and after procedures Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed Perform diagnostic testing (lab work, radiographs, etc.) Provide safe and effective animal restraint and handling Educate clients on post-op care, dental health, and general wellness Maintain accurate and detailed medical records Support daily hospital operations including cleaning, stocking, and equipment care What We're Looking For Prior veterinary experience preferred Experience with surgical monitoring and dental procedures highly preferred Strong understanding of anesthesia, patient monitoring, and animal care Comfortable working with small animals (exotics experience is a plus) Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to stay organized and efficient in a fast-paced environment Reliable, motivated, and committed to high-quality patient care Why Join Baker Bristol Pet Hospital?
