Kennel Assistant Insight Veterinary Wellness Center | El Dorado Hills, CA Full-time | ER Are you someone who loves animals and enjoys working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment? Join our team at Insight Veterinary Wellness Center, a hybrid hospital providing both Emergency and Primary Care services. We're looking for a dedicated Kennel Assistant to help care for our patients, maintain a clean and safe environment, and support our clinical team. Schedule 3x12s, Sat-Mon 3pm-4am OR Wed-Fri 3pm-4am (swing shift) Key Responsibilities Provide daily care for patients, including feeding, cleaning, and monitoring comfort (patient husbandry) Safely handle and restrain animals as needed for treatments or movement Assist the veterinary team with basic treatments and diagnostics Maintain cleanliness of kennels, treatment areas, and hospital spaces Stock and organize supplies in treatment and care areas Perform laundry and general upkeep of the facility Support team members with additional tasks as needed and maintain a positive, can-do attitude About You Animal experience preferred but not required - we will train the right person! Compassionate communicator with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members Team-oriented with strong collaboration and communication skills Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $20-$22 per hour (+current shift differential rate) Supportive, close-knit culture with opportunities for learning and growth

8 DVMs, 6 RVTs, 29 Support staff
