Veterinary Technician/ Assistant - Emergency Sign-On Bonus Offered for Qualified Full-Time Candidates 24/7 PetVets | Fresno, CA Where skill and teamwork matter. 24/7 PetVets is a locally operated, non-corporate 24-hour emergency hospital serving the Central Valley. What You'll Do Assist veterinarians during treatments and procedures Monitor and support critically ill or injured patients Administer medications and treatments as directed Assist with diagnostics including bloodwork and imaging Maintain accurate medical records Communicate clearly with pet owners Prepare and sanitize treatment and surgical areas Clean and maintain medical equipment Safely restrain and handle patients Scope of duties is assigned in accordance with licensure and California regulations. Schedule & Compensation Full-time positions available Shifts may include days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays Ability to work holidays is required $2.00/hour shift differential for hours worked between 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM Competitive pay based on experience Sign-On Bonus offered for qualified full-time candidates Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Vacation/sick Simple IRA (eligibility requirements apply) Life Insurance Employee Assistance Program (EAP) License reimbursement Scrubs provided Qualifications High school diploma required RVT preferred (experienced Veterinary Assistants encouraged to apply) 2+ years clinical experience preferred Strong communication and math skills California VACSP required within 60 days (waived for CA-RVT) 24/7 PetVets is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
