Responsibilities Assist with animal restraint, handling, and pet care to ensure safety and comfort during examinations and procedures Support veterinary technicians with medication administration, animal catheterization, and laboratory sample collection Maintain cleanliness and aseptic techniques within the clinic to uphold health standards Help manage front desk duties including client check-ins, appointment scheduling, and answering inquiries with professionalism Provide animal husbandry care such as feeding, bathing, and monitoring vital signs to promote overall well-being Assist with laboratory procedures, including sample processing and basic diagnostic tests Support the team during veterinary critical care situations by preparing equipment and assisting with emergency protocols Qualifications Previous kennel experience or animal care background preferred; experience in veterinary clinics is highly valued Strong animal handling skills across various species, including dogs, cats, and equines Knowledge of veterinary terminology, anatomy, physiology, and aseptic techniques Experience with medication administration, animal restraint, and catheterization techniques Ability to work effectively at the front desk handling pet owners professionally Familiarity with laboratory procedures and pet care routines is a plus Excellent communication skills combined with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn Embark on a rewarding career where your passion for animals drives meaningful change!
