As a veterinary assistant at Healing Hearts, you'll work in a modern, fully equipped facility handling a wide range of emergency and critical care cases.

Overnight and day shifts available Thoughtful scheduling designed to promote balance and sustainability Overnight differential pay available for night shift positions A well-supported team environment designed to help you thrive Who We're Looking For We are looking for veterinary assistants who are passionate about emergency medicine and ready to bring their best to every shift — day or night. Veterinary assistant experience preferred; new graduates and experienced assistants welcome Availability for overnight and/or day shifts (weeknights and/or weekends) required Experience in emergency or critical care medicine is a plus Comfort assisting with restraint, basic patient care, treatment prep, and patient monitoring Strong communication skills with clients and team members in high-stress situations A compassionate, team-first mindset and genuine love for emergency medicine Ability to stay calm, focused, and kind under pressure Both experienced emergency veterinary assistants and motivated early-career candidates are encouraged to apply.
