Overview Cats Luv Us Boarding Hotel & Grooming, a cat-only boarding and grooming facility in Laguna Niguel (operating since 1996), is seeking a licensed On-Call Veterinarian (DVM) to support the health of our feline guests. This is a flexible, contract, on-call role

• ideal for a relief or part-time vet. Your core responsibilities are to administer vaccinations and write prescriptions as needed for cats in our care. This is not a surgical or full-service clinical position. Responsibilities
• Administer vaccinations to boarding cats per standard feline protocols, using safe restraint and handling.
• Write prescriptions as needed for cats in our care.
• Perform brief health assessments to confirm vaccination eligibility.
• Monitor cats for post-vaccination reactions and advise on next steps.
• Maintain accurate records of vaccines administered (date, vaccine, cat ID).
• Coordinate with our boarding staff on care and any health concerns. Requirements
• Active veterinary license (DVM/VMD) to practice in California.
• Experience with cats or companion animals.
• Comfortable with feline restraint and handling.
• Reliable availability for on-call requests and clear communication with staff. Nice to have
• Relief or mobile veterinary experience.
• Familiarity with feline-specific vaccine schedules (FVRCP, rabies, FeLV).

Flexible schedule. Contract, roughly 1-20 hours per week.
